COMPUTER COURSES
Westminster Covenant Academy offers
an introductory computer programming course Comp101, which appears on our Course
Offerings web-page.
For those who would like to take
additional computer programming courses, we would refer you to:
2. Northwestern
University Center for Talent Development’s Java Honors and AP Computer
Science.
We feel by referring students to
other programs in computer, Westminster Covenant Academy can concentrate on
offering courses where courses are more needed in order to be faithful to the
Biblical doctrines summarized in the Westminster Standards. In general, computer instruction does not
significantly vary, whether taught by a reformed Christian adhering to the
Westminster Standards or a secular humanist.
Neither John Smiley’s program nor
the Northwestern University Center for Talent Development is in any way
affiliated with Westminster Covenant Academy.
We refer students to these programs as a courtesy.
