MATH COURSES
We believe that Chalk Dust Company offers a fine program
of math instruction from Grades 3-12.
One can utilize the program they offer without doctrinal compromise. So we are directing Westminster Covenant
Academy students to them for math instruction.
Chalk Dust offers instruction on
DVD. Also, customers can call them for
problem help.
For those who would like additional
Advanced Placement (AP) courses and instruction in math, we recommend the Northwestern
University Center for Talent Development’s AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus
BC.
We feel by referring students to
other programs in math, Westminster Covenant Academy can concentrate on
offering courses where courses are more needed in order to be faithful to the
Biblical doctrines summarized in the Westminster Standards. In general, math instruction does not
significantly vary, whether taught by a reformed Christian adhering to the
Westminster Standards or a secular humanist.
