OPTIONS AT THE CROSSROADS

Many people now realize we are at a crossroads in history, especially here in America, with the re-election of President Barack Obama. Here are some of the main political alternatives in the USA as I see them:

1. Democratic Party option – This political party will likely become increasingly dominated by non-whites, as demonstrated in recent elections and the changing demographics of the USA. In order to get a fair assessment of what that likely will mean in practical terms, we should look at what has happened in Zimbabwe and South Africa in recent decades, as rule passed from whites to non-whites. Envy and historical racial resentments are powerful, and they have led to oppression of whites in these nations. Property has more and more been confiscated from whites there, and “affirmative action” laws which unjustly discriminate against whites have been strengthened. Corruption and economic mismanagement have grown, and crime has risen, even resulting in significant murder rates on whites. In response, whites have been fleeing these nations in large numbers. There is simply no good reason to believe these same sorts of things will not happen in the US with the Democratic Party option. Already there are “affirmative action” laws which discriminate against whites, and there is talk of reparations that must be paid by whites to other peoples by various Democrats. Democratic Party leaders like President Obama and LA mayor Villaraigosa (the latter of which was a member of MECHA) have been steeped in teaching that taught them to resent whites for real and alleged past wrongs. In the future under the Democratic Party option, when nonwhites have thorough control of the federal government, whites should realistically expect to be oppressed.

2. Republican Party option - This political party is largely tied to corporate interests and modern politically correct and secular humanistic notions regarding civil government, so I am doubtful it offers any real solutions. Most blacks, Hispanics and Asians are unlikely ever to join it, unless the Party becomes like the Democratic Party, in which case it really has no rationale to exist as a separate party. In all likelihood establishment Republicans will want to try more “immigration reform” that offers amnesty to illegal immigrants. But it is unlikely those illegal immigrants receiving amnesty will join the ranks of the Republican Party, but rather will join the ranks of the Democratic Party, as they have in the past. And their increased numbers will mean even more foreigners from Third World countries will be emboldened to come to the USA illegally. And the longer such non-solutions are tried, the deeper is the hole to get out of our current mess. The numbers will become increasingly stacked against white Americans, such that they will be subject to more and more abuse, though certain wealthy Republicans that lead the Republican Party may avoid the worst of it. But middle class whites which are the bulk of the Republican Party will increasingly come to realize it is a dead end road, especially for them. So in all probability the Republican Party will go the way of the old Whig Party.

3. Flight option – Some whites will decide to flee America, likely to such countries as Australia, New Zealand, etc. One problem with this option is that it is like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. The reality is that every nation which has historically been dominated by whites is now undergoing the same sort of processes as are occurring in the USA. Furthermore, when are whites going to realize we cannot continue fleeing from one country to the next, but most boldly come up with real long term solutions to the dilemma? And since we are Americans, why not here? Our problems are not insurmountable with God’s help. If God saved the Pilgrims that landed at Plymouth, can He not provide us with long term solutions if we turn to Him in faith?

4. Secession option, seeking to form a separate nation that is Christian in the generic sense (but not explicitly reformed) and dominated by English-speaking whites (such as promoted by the League of the South) – This is the option I believe most of the current Republican Party will eventually go for. With respect to its method of secession, I think it is wrong. Secession of a people from a nation should be the last resort of a people, and that only when they cannot uphold the Ten Commandments of Jesus Christ while remaining within the nation. But such white Americans have never really sought to uphold the Ten Commandments of Jesus Christ within the USA, so to seek secession at this point is quite premature, and will result in much unnecessary bloodshed. But not only is the method mis-guided, the goal sought is misguided. This generic form of Christianity I believe will likely become more and more dominated by Romanism. If this is the case, I think long term it will persecute reformed Christianity. I am also concerned that it has not come to terms with the real wrongs that have been perpetrated by white Americans in the past, whether “manifest destiny” and respect of the sovereign rights of other nations and peoples, black slavery, etc.

5. An option that combines the features described at http://www.reformationparty.org/ and http://www.puritans.net/homelands/ - Specifically this would seek an explicitly reformed Christian nation governed according to the principles outlined in the original Westminster Standards. It would seek to do so as much as possible by peaceful means, following the example of the Pilgrims that settled Plymouth, who were then copied by many others. So it would seek to raise up one reformed Christian community at a time, each seeking to uphold the Ten Commandments. It would respect the right of each ethnic group to have a homeland where such ethnic group dominates, including white, English-speaking Americans.

One objection that may be raised about what I have written above revolves around whether white, English-speaking Americans are a distinct ethnic group. A number of people tell me that it is a figment of my imagination that white, English-speaking Americans are a distinct ethnic group, but then is it also a figment of my imagination that there are federal government “affirmative action” laws which discriminate against white, English-speaking Americans? No, the reality is that white, English-speaking Americans are a distinct ethnic group. (Japhethites [which even incorporates within the term “fair skinned”] are a separate ethnic people from Hamites, etc.) And as explained at http://www.puritans.net/homelands/, we like all other racial/ethnic groups have a right to a homeland where we dominate.

Another objection that may be raised regards why ethnicity should even matter in politics. Modern political correctness says ethnicity should not matter it all (at least when whites are concerned). They assert that it should not even enter into discussions about politics. But such a view is naïve and un-Biblical. The very word ‘nation’ in scripture has the idea of ethnicity embedded within it. The norm in scripture is for nationhood and ethnicity to be joined together. Old Testament Israel was an ethnic nation, and Old Testament Israel in its moral aspects is a model for every nation today. Those foreigners like Ruth and Uriah of other ethnicities that would become citizens of Israel had to integrate and assimilate. (I am not arguing for a nation to be “ethnically pure” (which is really impossible anyway), but I am arguing within each nation for all of the people over course of time to be integrating into and assimilating into the dominant ethnicity of that nation, and not creating permanently separate ethnicities within that nation.) Old Testament Israel was not the multicultural nation so many want the USA to be today. To deny this is to deny the obvious. From a practical standpoint, nations which include multiple ethnicities without a dominant ethnicity which others should assimilate into suffer from at least two problems. First, one ethnicity is often subject to the abuse from the other. Second, each ethnic group tends to seek the good of its own to the detriment of the good of the nation as a whole, each vying for more government largesse. The route all the nations of the world will become godly and prosperous is for each of them by God’s grace to adopt reformed Christianity in its fullness, not trying to establish some modern day Babel. There is no virtue in the delusion of modern political correctness.
