REGULATING OUR RECREATIONS BY THE BIBLE: GAMES AND STAGE-PLAYS
In their book entitled Some Important Cases of Conscience Answered, Mr. S. Pike and Mr. S. Hayward offer compelling treatment on the topics of games (especially card playing) and stage-plays. Case 3 treats of the former topic, and Case 10 treats of the latter topic. It warns about the dangers of engaging in games involving the use of lots and stage-play (which in modern times would include movies, TV situation comedies, etc.) entertainment.
