THE RISING STAR OF ROMANISM IN US POLITICS

Romanism is and has long been the rising star of US politics. Simply look around, starting at the
top. Romanist commentator Michael Novak
insightfully wrote this about George W. Bush:
“WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE
IN W.
Never have Catholics had so solicitous a friend in the White House. Bush met
early and often with the cardinals, usually without press attention. He also
called into existence a lay Catholic "sounding board" led by the
editor of the lay journal Crisis, Deal Hudson, to stay in almost daily
contact with his top staff. No president has ever been stronger on "the
culture of life," or a more consistent supporter of the vision set forth
by John Paul II. So pro-Catholic are the president's ideas and sentiments that
there are persistent rumors that, like his brother Jeb, the governor of
Florida, G. W. might also become a Catholic. These rumors probably have no
substance but merely verbalize an impression: How could the president's express

).
President George W. Bush- along with Reagan, Bush Sr. and Clinton- have
all officially referred to the Pope as “His Holiness”. The official ties between the President of
the United States and the Vatican were bolstered by the 1984 concordat between
the Vatican and the United States, as here described:
“The United States and the Holy See announced the establishment of diplomatic relations on January 10, 1984. On March 7, 1984, the Senate confirmed William A. Wilson as the first U.S. ambassador to the Holy See. Ambassador Wilson had been President Reagan's personal envoy to the Pope since 1981. The Holy See named Archbishop Pio Laghi as Apostolic Nuncio (equivalent to ambassador) of the Holy See to the U.S. Establishment of diplomatic relations has bolstered the frequent contact and consultation between the United States and the Holy See on many important international issues of mutual interest.” (http://www.virtualsources.com/Countries/Europe%20Countries/Holy%20See.htm )
A number of the leading Democratic contenders for President- like
Wesley Clark and John Kerry – are Romanists.
The governors of the major states in the Union are Romanist. These include Gray Davis and Arnold
Schwarzenegger of California, George Pataki of New York, Jeb Bush of Florida,
and John Engler and Jennifer Granholm of Michigan. (see http://www.adherents.com/adh_gov.html

In addition, “Catholics continue to dominate numerically in the
U.S. Congress, followed by Baptists and Methodists, according to the latest
tally by Americans for Religious Liberty…The top religious affiliations have
remained the same for decades, with Catholics as No. 1. "They have been
since 1964," said Albert Menendez, associate editor of the newsletter.

And these statistics understate the extent of influence. Much of American “Protestantism” has become
doctrinally and practically corrupted.
There is hardly any protest of Romanism from such nominally Protestant
quarters.
The implications for US politics are not propitious. Romanism has a long history of corrupting
national and international politics. At
Puritan News Weekly we have chronicled
some of these scandals, as well as providing links to books which
chronicle their long history. Here is
but one of many examples that could be cited, from an article entitled Frauds-R-Us
by William Bowles:
“…The other really important question to ask is how can one family which has so many skeletons in the family closet, get away with such dirty dealings and over such a long period of time without being called to task? It’s as if the mass media goes deaf, dumb and blind when the name Bush comes up. For no matter what your politics are, left, right or indifferent, a family which has its fingers in so many dirty dealings has surely got to get you thinking about exactly what kind of country it is you live in (if you’re an American) and what kind of world is it that’s dominated by a country with a media (not to mention a legal system) that’s quite content not to challenge its president or his lying, thiefing family and their tenticular network of associations which includes: the Mafia, the Chinese Communist Party, Japanese Triads, the Vatican, Central American drug smugglers and gun runners, international arms dealers, the Ayotollah Khomeini (RIP), Cuban-American terrorists, money laundering, illegal arms sales, countless conflicts of interests, nepotism, coverups, tax avoidance, SEC fiddles and banking scams? A veritable ‘school for scoundrels’…
BCCI (Bank of Credit & Commerce)

The BCCI-Bush connection is, it could be argued an ‘accidental’ one, but it’s highly unlikely even if it is difficult to track, But the seeds are all there, including GW Snr’s CIA connection (as head of it) in the 1970s and the links to BCCI as well as his long time association with James R. Bath an investor in Arbusto. Bath, was a Houston businessman and old friend was also an investor in BCCI. Essentially, BCCI was a convenient ‘channel’ for moving money through to fund the various illegal enterprises being undertaken at the time including, Iran-Contra, the Iranian arms sales, CIA money laundering operations, connections to powerful Middle Eastern businessmen, the Vatican and its right-wing connections through BNL.” (http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article3308.htm )
The question is: when will
Americans wake up and realize what has been happening?
