”FREE PEOPLE WILL SET THE COURSE OF HUMAN HISTORY”, SAYS BUSH
By J. Parnell McCarter
In
Isaiah 47 we read the words of ancient Babylon, as she declared her
invincibility. President George Bush
this week similarly declared the invincibility of the USA in these words:
“…free
people will set the course of history…And if war is forced upon us, we will
fight with the full force and might of the United States military — and we will
prevail...”
The
USA, like ancient Babylon, is truly a great world superpower. She has set the paradigm of a secularist
nation since the “Age of Enlightenment”.
She is the New Atlantis which had been dreamed of by philosophers like
Francis Bacon. She has worldly wisdom
and knowledge, to perform great feats.
But
her strength will be her undoing. America’s worldly wisdom and knowledge have
perverted her, just as it did ancient Babylon (Isaiah 47:10). She has been corrupted by her rebellion and
her sorceries, in violation of the Ten Commandments. Her leaders have engaged
in sorcery, as was the case in ancient Babylon (see Isaiah 47:9). Remember how it was disclosed that Nancy
Reagan consulted an astrologer for advice, and how Ronald Reagan followed that
advice in making national decisions?
Remember how Hillary Clinton said she had conversations with Eleanor
Roosevelt? Jesuitic-Masonic Gnosticism
(which is often described today as the New Age Movement) has swept through the
nation, and this Gnosticism is really an importation from ancient Babylon, as
F. Tupper Saussy documents in his book Rulers of Evil. Freedom in the USA means freedom to sin
and rebel against God with impunity.
And this has led her into whorish perversions, away from the reformed
Protestant heritage of her colonial days.
I
have noted in my book Let My People Go how I believe the mysterious
whorish “Babylon” spoken of in Revelation 17-18 is Washington, DC and the
nation it represents. The USA will be
destroyed by a wicked Romish “Beast” I believe, just as ancient Babylon was
destroyed by a wicked “Beast”.
Desolation shall come upon her suddenly. She will not ultimately prevail.
