Truth can be stranger than fiction,
especially when it involves gunpowder, “American Royalty”, the Skull and Bones
society, opium, and the Jesuits.
Our story begins in early seventeenth
century England with a Jesuit-hatched plot to overthrow the British Protestant
monarchy. The plot was discovered
before it was successfully executed, and many of the conspirators were tried
and convicted. Here is how the trial has
been described:

Powder Plotters arraigned, tried and convicted
The eight principal conspirators in the Gunpowder Plot - a nefarious scheme to blow up the King, his family and Parliament that was providentially uncovered last November 5, just as the bomb was about to go off - were arraigned, tried and found guilty of high treason today.
The trial began in the early morning hours after the eight plotters - Sir Everard Digby, Robert Winter, Thomas Winter, Ambrose Rookwood, John Grant, Robert Keyes, Thomas Bates and the infamous Guido Fawkes - were brought by boat from the Tower to the Court of Star Chamber in Westminster Hall. Once the Lords Commissioners - with the Lord Chief Justice Sir John Popham presiding - had taken their seats, the defendants were led in and set upon a scaffold in front of the Court. Prince Henry and Queen Anne are also known to have been listening to the proceedings from a secret place, as King James himself is also rumored to have done.
To the charges - in brief, that the eight defendants, together with Catesby, Percy, the two Wrights, Tresham, and the three Jesuits Henry Garnet, Oswald Tesmond (alias Greenway) and John Gerrard (all killed in the pursuit), did traitorously conspire to kill the King and the Queen and Prince Henry; to raise sedition and to produce a miserable slaughter in the realm; to cause rebellion and to subvert and change the government and true worship of God established in the Realm; and also to invite foreigners to invade the Realm and make war against the King - all surprisingly pleaded not guilty, despite the extreme notoriety of their previous confessions. This prompted Chief Justice Popham to ask Guy Fawkes how he could deny the indictment, considering he was captured in the cellar with the powder, and never denied his guilt before, to which Fawkes responded that he disagreed merely with certain details of the indictment.
After the arraignment, Attorney General Sir Edward Coke laid out the case against the plotters at length, outlining all the details from the first beginnings of the English Jesuits' conspiracy with the King of Spain in late December 1601 to the epoch of the Plot itself. Only three of the plotters offered a weak defense in their own behalf.
The outcome was that after reviewing and defending Queen Elizabeth's laws against recusants, priests and receivers of priests, Chief Justice Popham pronounced a judgment of high treason upon all the defendants. The King in his admirable clemency has promised that although these traitors have exceeded all their predecessors in mischief, he will not exceed the customary punishment of the law for their crimes not invent any new torture or torment for them.
The convicted plotters thus face no greater punishment that the one provided by law for high treason, which Attorney General Coke himself outlined as follows:
A traitor...shall...be drawn to the place of execution from his prison, as being not worthy any more to tread upon the face of the earth whereof he was made: also for that he hath been retrograde to nature, therefore is he drawn backward at a horse-tail. And whereas God hath made the head of man the highest and most supreme part, as being his chief grace and ornament, he must be drawn with his head declining downward, and lying so near the ground as may be, being thought unfit to take benefit of the common air.
For which cause also he shall be strangled, being hanged up by the neck between heaven and earth, as deemed unworthy of both or either; as likewise, that the eyes of men may behold, and their hearts contemn him. His bowels and inward parts taken out and burned, who inwardly had conceived and harboured in his heart such horrible treason. After, to have his head cut off, which had imagined the mischief. And lastly, his body to be quartered, and the quarters set up in some high and eminent place, to the view and detestation of men, and to become a prey for the fowls of the air.
And this is a reward due to traitors, whose hearts be hardened; for that it is a physic of state and government, to let out corrupt blood from the heart.

Although these seven conspirators were
executed, there were many other English Romanists, and especially Jesuits, who
were ready to try again. One notable
example was the Percy family, only one of whom was executed in the Gunpowder
Plot. They and others were determined
to overthrow reformed Protestant government and bring the English-speaking
peoples back under the tyranny, immorality, and false religion of the
Pope. To better facilitate the effort,
a name change was in order for the Percy family. As we read at http://www.dcia.com/dismantl.html based on information presented at the
Southwest Genealogical Conference:
“Both George Bush and Barbara Pierce Bush (of Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith) are descended from the same Pierce family of England as President Franklin Pierce. Originally known as the enormously powerful Percy family of England, a name change to Pierce was required along with a quick immigration to America, when their involvement in the failed Gun Powder Plot to blow up Parliament became known. One of the Percy castles, where this plot was hatched was known as Sion House.
Other notable Bush relatives include the Grosvenor families of England and America, and the Taft family of Ohio. The Grosvenors of England are the Dukes of Westminster who own the most substantial properties in the City of London --- the banker's capital. Of over 100,000 acres of Grosvenor property, most is in the financial district of London! In America, the Grosvenors founded Nation Geographic. National Geographic is known for sweeping down on the archeological treasures of the world, especially those of a religious significance, and spiriting them away to the Smithsonian Institute, controlled by their cousins the Smithsons, also descended from the Percys. Imposing false interpretations on religious finds is very important to the House of Sion. As interesting as these family affiliations are, it is the Taft family which turns out to be the most politically interesting.
Although George Bush's official 1980 presidential candidate biography listed both his Presidency of the TRILATERAL COMMISSION and his membership in the YALE secret society SKULL AND BONES, no major news organization mentioned either of these telling affiliations.”
F. Tupper Saussy chronicled the role of Jesuits,
especially the prominent Carroll family, in the formation and establishment of
the United States in his book Rulers of Evil (http://www.rulersofevil.com/). As I noted in my book Let My People Go (http://www.puritans.net/resources.html
), the Jesuits won a significant victory in the establishment of the
United States, for it was constitutionally free of the reformed Protestant
faith. Unlike the colonial era, now
Romanists could vote and hold public office.
Indeed, the United States government has been dominated by them,
covertly as well as overtly. And
illustrious families like the Percys thus became the dominant political
leaders. Their pedigree was the
finest. In his work, Ancestors of
American Presidents, Gary Boyd Roberts of the New England Historic
Genealogical Society reveals nineteen presidents descended from Edward III. And
as we read again at http://www.dcia.com/dismantl.html : the “royal ancestry of George Bush… traces
from Charlemagne and Alfred the Great, all the way down through George Bush's
32 presidential cousins!”
The Jesuit Order
does much of its dirty work in secret, so we should not be surprised that it
has spawned connected societies, like SKULL AND BONES, to carry on its projects.
In a letter
prefacing Alexandra Robbin’s well documented article on Skull and Bones (her
book on the Skull and Bones society is entitled Secrets of the Tomb ) the following is written (see http://www.calltodecision.com/skull%20crossbones.htm

"Ms Robbins, in her book mentioned in the last line of this article,
details how that George Russell, son of an opium magnate in the 1830's, made associations
with the Illuminati in the 1830's, and from thence, began a chapter of it in
the US at Yale University, which he called "the Skull and Bones
Society." Oddly enough, just some twenty years before, the then President
of Yale University, Timothy Dwight, son of Jonathan Edwards, heavily inveighed
against secret societies, and warned in particular against the
Illuminati."
This connection to the Illuminati is significant, because as we have documented at Puritan News Weekly, Ignatius Loyola who founded the Jesuit Order also founded the Illuminati, and the Jesuits have continued to use it as a subsidiary. Percy descendants like the Tafts – closet Romanists albeit outwardly Protestant – helped start Skull and Bones at Yale. As we read at http://www.dcia.com/dismantl.html :
“SKULL AND BONES (S&B), was first established by the graduating class of 1832 of YALE UNIVERSITY by William Harrison Russell and Alphonso Taft, the father of President William Howard Taft. It is significant to note that Alphonso Taft was thereafter powerful enough to manipulate his son into both the presidency and the Chief Justiceship of the U.S. SUPREME COURT. Each year S&B graduating seniors would initiate only 15 new members...selected exclusively from the ranks of the offspring of the super wealthy. From the beginning, S&B was the recruiting grounds for William Harrison Russell's RUSSELL TRUST COMPANY which managed the SKULL AND BONES treasury.
Founded in 1823, the RUSSELL TRUST COMPANY superseded the Perkins family to become the dominant opium trafficking syndicate in North America. The shipping manifests from those days have survived intact to make this claim solid. Russell's partners in this venture were those loyal to the Crown of ENGLAND, and this allegiance persists to this day with their descendants, who comprise what is known today as the EASTERN LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT. Although there are more billionaires in AMERICA than in GREAT BRITAIN, the largest billionaires of AMERICA still cannot hold a candle to the largest billionaires of ENGLAND. The wealth of the Royal Family of GREAT BRITAIN and this Tory group in AMERICA was all founded on the illegal opium trade from TURKEY to CHINA. Today nothing has facilitated the illegal narcotics trade as much as the phoney drug war of the Reagan/Bush era. A dozen books name Theodore Shackley (who served as number two under George Bush in the CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY) as the man who organized the opium trade in the Golden Triangle. Contra cocaine, Mena, Arkansas---it all tempts one to speculate that maybe the Bush family never abandoned their interest in this most lucrative narcotics business.
Among Russell's partners was Warren Delano, Jr., Chief of RUSSELL TRUST operations in Canton, CHINA. Delano was the grandfather of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, another Bush cousin. Other Russell partners were John Cleve Green, whose opium fortunes financed PRINCETON UNIVERSITY, Abiel Abbott Low, whose opium fortune financed the construction of COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, Joseph Coolidge, whose son organized the UNITED FRUIT COMPANY, and his grandson, Archibald Cary Coolidge, who was a founding executive officer of the COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS. Is the reader beginning to discern a pattern?”
By the twentieth century Percy descendents – like Jeb Bush the brother of President George W. Bush – could be publicly Romanist and do well in state and national politics. By the end of the twentieth century Protestants had been so bamboozled that there was no longer need for Romanists to hide under a Protestant cloak. And Romanists like William F. Buckley, Henry Luce, William Bundy, and McGeorge Bundy have all been influential leaders in US political and cultural life. Presidents like Bush, Clinton, and Reagan could recognize the Pope as “His Holiness” without any serious political ramification. Indeed, it had become a political asset. Continuing on then:
“It is therefore little wonder that those tapped yearly for S&B have gone on to positions of enormous power. Take for example, publishers Henry Luce (S&B 1920) and William F. Buckley (S&B 1950, NEW YORK TIMES GENERAL MANAGER Amory Howe Bradford (S&B 1934), CIA power players William P. Bundy (S&B 1939), McGeorge Bundy (S&B 1940), Richard Bissel (S&B 1932), Senator David Bowen, Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Oversight Committee (S&B 1963, and anti-war activist Reverend William Sloan Coffin (S&B 1949)....remember, this group intends to control both sides of every national debate. Starting to see a pattern?… HOW THE ORDER CREATES WAR AND REVOLUTION reveals that half of the board of directors of J.P. MORGAN AND COMPANY were S&B graduates. The black flag with the white skull and crossbones emblem, which was the corporate flag gracing all Russell Trust Company ships, which was adopted as the emblem of the SKULL AND BONES fraternity at YALE, acquired such a reputation back then that even to this day it symbolizes piracy.”
This pattern is actual just standard Jesuit methodology. It explains why there are Fascist Jesuits and Marxist Jesuits. Again, continuing on with excerpts:
“Is it not strange that the media spent so much time lint-picking the personalities of the candidates in the 1990 election and showed no interest in George Bush's membership in a secret society whose initiation rites involved carrying the new recruit naked in a coffin into a building the society calls "the Tomb"?
Eventually, S&B came to be dominated by BROWN BROTHERS HARRIMAN, the largest private investment bank in AMERICA. The CEO of this power group, Averell Harriman, was the mentor of George Bush's father, Prescott Bush. George Bush's grandfather George Herbert Walker, served as president of BROWN BROTHERS HARRIMAN. The Bush family has SPENT three generations in service to the Harriman interests. That is why it is downright nefarious that it was the widow of Averell Harriman, Pamela Harriman, who was the principle backer of Bill Clinton for President. When Clinton lost the campaign for Governor of Arkansas, it was Pamela who picked him up, dusted him off and made him chairman of PAM-PAC--the largest fund raising source for the Democratic Party. Some cynics think that George Bush is still president, using Bill Clinton as a front, just as he had used Ronald Reagan. Remember, anyone who wanted to meet with President Reagan had to first go through Bush's former campagn manager, Chief of Staff James Baker.
There is a book that was recently on the New York Times bestsellers list about Pamela Harriman, entitled LIFE OF THE PARTY. This book, written by the diplomatic correspondent for TIME MAGAZINE, minces no words about the fact that Pamela Harriman "put the Clinton Administration together". In fact it notes that an ancestor of Pamela's conspired with the Percys in the Gun Powder Plot.
BROWN BROTHERS HARRRIMAN headed by Averell Harriman, the SULLIVAN AND CROMWELL LAW FIRM, headed by John Foster Dulles and the UNION BANK, headed by George Herbert Walker and Prescott Bush, came to represent the entire business interests of the NAZI cartels in the U.S. before and during World War II. It may therefore seem astounding to the average reader that, after the war John Dulles could go on to be Secretary of State, his brother Allen Dulles Director of CIA and Averell Harriman Ambassador to the USSR. An understanding of this anomaly will provide a key to how the world is run.
A careful reading of Anthony Sutton's works, WALL STREET AND THE BOLSHEVIK REVOLUTION and WALL STREET AND THE RISE OF HITLER will reveal that the wealthiest individuals in the world (including John D. Rockefeller and Prescott Bush) financed the left wing Bolsheviks and the right wing Nazis and clashed them in war for profit and power. The two Wall Street firms most in the forefront of the financing of the Bolshevik revolution were J.P. MORGAN and BROWN BROTHERS HARRIMAN. A full half of the board of directors of these two firms were former members of SKULL AND BONES at YALE!! Percy Rockefeller, Prescott Bush and Roland Harriman were in the same pledge class.
This group intends to control both sides of every conflict. Fletcher Prouty's book, JFK, VIETNAM AND THE ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENT KENNEDY (now in local bookstores), will provide an insider's viewpoint of how these same centers of finance stay on top by controlling both Communist and anti-Communist armies.
The influence of the YALE secret society, S&B, on world affairs is so great that a short article like this cannot attempt more than present an outline and a direction for further research. Needless to say, this group has cut through history like a snowplow. As previously stated, Alfonso Taft, co-founder of S&B and ancestor of George Bush, was sufficiently influential to manipulate his son, William Howard Taft, into both the presidency (1909-1913) and then the Chief Justiceship of the Supreme Court. Quite significantly it was during the Taft presidency that our constitution was dismantled. As Chief Justice, Taft fashioned the state constitutions of Arizona and New Mexico--also highly significant.
During the Taft presidency, the bills which forever altered the balance of power of The Constitution were incubated. The 17th Amendment, calling for the direct election of senators, guaranteeing that senatorial elections could be purchased by big money interests was passed April 1913. Previously, while senators were elected by the state legislatures, the U.S. Senate was a bastion of conservative resistance to the elitists. If our state legislators had the power to elect our U.S. senators, many of us would take the trouble to get to know who they are.
Now the only people who "invest" in state legislators are those whose economic interests are directly impacted.
The Federal Reserve Act and the Income Tax Amendment (16th Amendment) of 1913 also issued directly from the Taft presidency. William Taft served as Commissioner of Internal Revenue just before being elected president. It is hard to imagine anything more oppressive than the IRS, which has been ruthlessly used to systematically destroy the middle class of America. Anyone who seriously wishes to understand how the Federal Reserve was used to utterly subvert the intention of the Constitution must read THE SECRETS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE, by Eustice Mullins. Pushed through congress by Senator Nelson Aldridge, the maternal grandfather of David Rockefeller, this act of infamy marks the death knell of this nation's economic freedom.
The Federal Reserve is not federal , but is a consortium of private central banks. The federal government does not own a single share, and none of us can buy a share of this--the most lucrative corporate stock in the world. Shares are held today by the heirs of the original 20 founding families. With profits exceeding 150 billion per annum, no corporation in the world comes anywhere close. The Federal Reserve is simply the single most impactful agency upon the U.S. economy and the world's principle engine for the mal-distribution of wealth. If the profits of the Federal Reserve are compounded from its inception to the present, a sum roughly equivalent to the national debt results. Back then, Wall Street interests "fought" this bill while all along they were its authors. Sadly I note that these same tactics are successfully used to this day.
Averell Harriman grew up on a 20,000 acre estate in New York. His father, W.A. Harriman was the original owner of the SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD, which runs through northern Arizona. William Boyce Thompson , who left Arizona the Thompson Arboretum near Globe, was the first governor of the Federal Reserve.
The presidential election of 1912 had a great deal in common with the 1990 election---ALL THREE CANDIDATES WERE FINANCED BY THE SAME INTERESTS!! William Taft would have beaten Woodrow Wilson in a two-way race but another Republican, Teddy Roosevelt entered the race to divide the Republican vote. What did Taft care; he was promised the Chief Justiceship of the U.S. Supreme Court. With the Federal Reserve sure to become law, the international bankers now had a mechanism in place to fund a world war. They needed a popular Democratic president to lead the masses into war. Enter Woodrow Wilson…”
In other Puritan
News Weekly articles we have addressed the influence of the Vatican over
the CIA, and of the CIA’s involvement in drug trafficking. Drug trafficking has long been a way that
the “American Royalty” and the Vatican have added to their coffers and
maintained power, as exemplified by Russell’s involvement in the opium trade in
the nineteenth century. The New York
Times ran an article in 1997 about one small aspect of this, as excerpted
below:

The Opium War's Secret History
Losers rarely name wars, an exception being the conflict between Britain and
China from 1839 to 1842, known bluntly ever since as the Opium War.
To most Chinese, a century of
humiliation began with this war, in which Westerners sought to force a deadly
drug on an Asian people, and then imposed an unequal treaty that pried open
their country and annexed the island that became Hong Kong.
In embarrassing truth, that is essentially what happened. As Hong Kong
reverts to China at month's end, many of us for the first time may see a bit of
history from a different end of the telescope. Yet a further point needs
making.
Even the authors of the Opium War were ashamed of it, and Western protests against
it marked the beginning of a concern with international human rights that in a
fresh turn embarrasses today's leaders in Beijing.
Along with the slave trade, the traffic in opium was the dirty underside of an
evolving global trading economy. In America as in Europe, pretty much
everything was deemed fair in the pursuit of profits. Such was the
outlook at Russell & Company, a Boston concern whose clipper ships made it
the leader in the lucrative American trade in Chinese tea and silk.
In 1823 a 24year old Yankee,
Warren Delano, sailed to Canton, where he did so well that within seven years
he was a senior partner in Russell & Company. Delano's problem, as
with all traders, European and American, was that China had much to sell but declined
to buy. The Manchu emperors believed that the Middle Kingdom already
possessed everything worth having, and hence needed no barbarian
manufactures.
The British struck upon an ingenious way to reduce a huge trade deficit.
Their merchants bribed Chinese officials to allow entry of chests of opium from
Britishruled India, though its importation had long been banned by imperial
decree. Imports soared, and nearly every American company followed suit,
acquiring "black dirt" in Turkey or as agents for Indian producers.
Writing home, Delano said he could not pretend to justify the opium trade on
moral grounds, "but as a merchant I insist it has been . .
. fair, honorable and legitimate," and no more objectionable than
the importation of wines and spirits to the U.S.
Yet as addiction became epidemic, and as the Chinese began paying with precious
silver for the drug, their Emperor finally in 1839 named an Imperial
Commissioner to end the trade.
Commissioner Lin Tsehsu
proceeded to Canton, seized vast stocks of opium and dumped the chests in the
sea. This, plus a melee in which drunken sailors killed a Chinese
villager, furnished the spark for the Opium War, initiated by Lord Palmerston,
the British Prime Minister, and waged with determination to obtain full
compensation for the opium. The Celestial Empire was humbled, forced to
open five ports to foreign traders and to permit a British colony at Hong
Kong.
But as noteworthy, the war was denounced in Parliament as "unjust and
iniquitous" by 30yearold William Ewart Gladstone, who accused Palmerston
of hoisting the British flag "to protect an infamous contraband
traffic." The same outrage was expressed in the pulpit and the press, in
America and England, thereby encouraging Russell & Company and most other
American businesses to pull out of the opium trade.
Warren Delano returned to America rich, and in 1851 settled in Newburgh,
N.Y. There he eventually gave his daughter Sara in marriage to a wellborn
neighbor, James Roosevelt, the father of Franklin Roosevelt. The old
China trader was closemouthed about opium, as were his partners in Russell
& Company. It is not clear how much F.D.R. knew about this
source of his grandfather's wealth. But the President's recent biographer
Geoffrey Ward rejects efforts by the Delano family to minimize Warren's
involvement…”
Another
website notes the following:
“Many wealthy families in the United States
made their money trafficking in drugs. Yale's "secretive Order of the
Skull and Bones" was involved in the Opium trade and founding family were
the Russells. Samuel Russell established "Russell and Company" in
1823 and acquired opium in Turkey, smuggled it into China and in 1830
established the Perkins Opium syndicate of Boston and Connecticut. Warren Delano
Jr, grandfather of Franklin Roosevelt was involved as were Coolidge, Perkins,
Sturgis, Forbes and other well known families.
The Order became prominent in the
US and membership in the Order included wealthy American families: Whitney,
Taft, Bundy, Harriman, Weyerhauser, Pinchot, Rockefeller, Goodyear, Lord,
Whitney, Sloane, Simpon, Phelps, Pillsbury, Perkins, Kellogg, Vanderbilt, Bush,
and Lovett and the Order has had a very close association with the U.S.
Intelligence Community. The Bush family was a member and George Bush was the
Director of the CIA before he became President. And, that same relationship
exists with his son, the current president Bush.
The Bayer Company also was a big
player in opium and "Heroin" was a trade name of the Bayer Company
[1898]…U.S. Intelligence can be traced back to Yale where the "Culper
Ring" was established secretly by George Washington to gather intelligence
on the British during the U.S. War of Independence. Yale also established
schools and hospitals in China and Mao Zedong was on staff in 1903. ..
Then things started to heat up in
Indochina. The French controlled Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand and after
the French defeat at Dien Bien Phu the U.S. moved in. The French when there
financed their covert intelligence with you guessed it, opium. Maurice Belleux,
who was the head of the French CIA, called the SDECE confirmed this. He stated
that French paratroopers would collect raw opium and move it by French military
aircraft to Saigon where it was distributed by the Sino-Vietnamese Mafia. The
Corsican crime syndicate also shipped opium to Marseilles and refined it into
Heroin from where it was distributed to Europe and the U.S, to-wit: "The
French Connection." Not the first nor the last time the mafia and
underworld has been in bed with the French government - as it has with the U.S.
government.
The secret wars in the region of
Cambodia, Laos and Thailand continued after the Vietnam War into the 80s. It
was "off the books" and the CIAs secret hot war using American
soldiers, the air force and local tribesmen. Winning militarily was never a
U.S. objective, but the securing of the area's opium trade and production was.
What followed was an increase in heroin addiction in the U.S. and Western
Europe, not least of which were the heroin addicts among U.S. troops who served
in Vietnam. It is estimated also that one third of all our combat troops were
hooked on "China White," all of which is to the discredit of the CIA.
In Laos, General Vang Pao, leader
of the Meo tribesman fought the CIA's secret war. He would collect raw opium in
Northern Laos and transport it via CIA's "Air America" to a U.S.
complex at Long Thien - known as "Spook Heaven" and "Alternate
20," where it was processed into white heroin. Vang Pao had his own
airline courtesy of the CIA known as "Air Opium," which transported
the heroin to Saigon [Ton Sohn Nut Air Base]. There part of the opium was sold
to hooked US servicemen and the Corsican syndicate shipped the bulk to
Marseilles and then to Cuba and Mafia boss Santos Trafficante and from there on
to the United States. Some heroin were sealed in body bags of returning dead
American soldiers.
After the invasion of Cambodia, a
U.S. backed operation in 1970, another pipeline was established. The Vietnamese
navy operated the pipeline along bases at Phnom Penh and the Mekong River. Up
until U.S. withdrawal from Vietnam, General Quang of South Vietnam, who was
considered the biggest player in this operation, fled and was relocated in
Montreal, Canada by way of Fort Chaffee in Arkansas courtesy of the CIA.
And, in 1973, President Nixon
declared the "war on drugs." Nixon closed the Turkish connection
which had the effect of increasing demand from the Golden Triangle of Southeast
Asia [and especially Burma].
In Burma the opium production
business was controlled by the CIA backed warlord there, which by 1992, was
300,000 tons.
The so-called "war on
drugs" is a charade of the U.S. government and it is about money and
influence.”
We have
already noted at Puritan News Weekly the considerable influence of the
Romish Church in promoting the Vietnam War, in our book review about Cardinal
Spellman. Indeed, the Vietnam War is
sometimes referred to as Spelly’s War, because of his influence regarding it.
Drug
trafficking by these rogues has not ceased as we have entered the 21st
century. Afghanistan is a case in

“There are direct historical links between Osama bin Laden's business interests and those of the Bush family. On September 15 I received the following message from FTW subscriber, Professor John Metzger of Michigan State University:
"We should revisit the history of BCCI, a bank used by the legendary Palestinian terrorist known as Abu Nidal. BCCI was closely tied to American and Pakistan intelligence. Its clients included the Afghan rebels, and the father of Osama bin Laden. The father of bin Laden named Houston investment broker James R. Bath as his business representative in Texas, right after George W. Bush's father became CIA director in 1976. By 1977, Bath invested $50,000 into junior's first business, Arbusto Energy, while Osama bin Laden would soon become a CIA asset. George W. Bush's FBI director Robert Mueller was part of the Justice Department's questionable investigation of BCCI. (On BCCI, the bin Ladens, and the Bushes, see the books, The Outlaw Bank, A Full Service Bank, and Fortunate Son)." Further details of the business and financial relationships between the Bush and bin Laden family are found in Peter Brewton's 1992 book The Mafia, CIA and George Bush. BCCI, incidentally, was founded by a Pakistani.
Economics Professor Michel Chossudovsky of the University of Ottawa has just completed a detailed history of bin Laden's career detailing his secret funding and logistical support to terrorist organizations beginning from his early CIA-supported roots in the 1980s as a "freedom fighter" through to the present day. Bin Laden's role has not just been as a practitioner of terrorist acts but as a trainer and supplier of terrorist organizations around the world. Included in bin Laden's coterie are terrorist groups linked to the Balkans, Albania, the KLA (a U.S. ally), and rebel groups leading the insurrection against Russia in Chechnya.
As FTW described in 1998, and as confirmed by Chossudovsky, the key to understanding U.S. support of bin Laden is to grasp that he has always been controlled by a cutout, the Pakistani government and its intelligence service the ISI. In this manner there has been virtually no direct contact between bin Laden and the CIA. This has served the dual purpose of maintaining his apparent "purity" with his followers and providing plausible deniability for the CIA. The whole underlying pretext for this relationship evaporated with the Taliban's destruction of the opium crop in February.
Chossudovsky writes:
"The history of the drug trade in Central Asia is intimately related to
the CIA's covert operations. Prior to the Soviet-Afghan war, opium production
in Afghanistan and Pakistan was directed to small regional markets. There was
no local production of heroin. In this regard [Professor] Alfred McCoy's study
confirms that within two years of the onslaught of the CIA operation in
Afghanistan, 'the Pakistan-Afghanistan borderlands became the world's top
heroin producer, supplying 60 per sent of the U.S. demand
"With the disintegration of the Soviet Union, a new surge in opium production has unfolded. (According to UN estimates, the production of opium in Afghanistan in 1998-99 -- coinciding with the build up of armed insurgencies in the former Soviet republics -- reached a record high of 4600 metric tons. Powerful business syndicates in the former Soviet Union allied with organized crime are competing for the strategic control over the heroin routes.
"The ISI's extensive intelligence military-network was not dismantled in the wake of the Cold War. The CIA continued to support the Islamic "jihad" out of Pakistan"
"The Golden Crescent drug trade was also being used to finance and equip the Bosnian Muslim Army (starting in the early 1990s) and the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). In the last few months there is evidence that Mujhideen mercenaries are fighting in the ranks of the KLA-NLA terrorists in their assaults into Macedonia
" With regard to Chechnya, the main rebel leaders Shamil Basayev and Al Khattab were trained and indoctrinated in CIA sponsored camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan In this regard, the involvement of Pakistan's ISI and its radical Islamic proxies are actually calling the shots in this war.
"Russia's main pipeline route transits through Chechnya and Dagestan. Despite Washington's perfunctory condemnation of Islamic terrorism, the indirect beneficiaries of the Chechen war are the Anglo-American oil conglomerates which are vying for control over oil resources and pipeline corridors out of the Caspian Sea basin."

George Bush, Sr. was Vice President and, by virtue of executive Order 12333, in charge of all U.S. intelligence and narcotics operations from 1981 through 1989. As President from 1989 through 1993, he continued and expanded his control in these areas. Thus, it was Bush (the elder) who directly nourished and nurtured bin Laden's evolution.”
The “Babylon” of the USA has thus
ridden upon the back of the Romish Beast and it has promoted evil
worldwide. But we can look forward to
its fall, just as God’s word prophesies.
